"Don't worry about it, secret's safe with me, I saw you watching me over there, I was wondering why that was. I mean I know you've been crushing on me for a while, and I kow you also are crushing on Piper's son Chris, too." He had to be direct, but he couldn't think of anything else to say, I mean what do you say to someone at a time like this? He didn't feel anything toward her, other than she was a friend's daughter. It wasn't like he loved her or anything, not in the way that she probably wanted. It was just too weird. He blocked his mind from being read, just in case she had that power.

She looked at him a little shocked at what he just said she wasnt sure what to say back i mean yeah she had a crush on him and she was in love with Chris she looked down then back up to him"How do you know all of this i mean ive never said anything to anyone?"

"Well I'm a whitelighter, just like your dad Mistic, I also have the power of Telepathy, which I gained recently. It's allowed me to read minds without even trying to. I can hear other people's thoughts without even focusing on them. Don't even ask me how I don't know I think it's the Elder's way of screwing with everything actually but that's not the point. I know how you feel about Chris and that's who you should be directing everything towards, he's a good guy and he's closer to your age."

"Just because someone else likes Chris, doesn't mean you can't try and get him to see the real you. Besides, just because someone else likes Chris doesn't mean he likes that girl back. Only you can figure out whether it's worth it to give him a chance, to see whether you could be more than just friends. Besides if you never try, you'll never know what you'll be missing."

He laughed a bit when she said 'How do you know all this, you're just a guy.' Even though he himself had gotten into some rather difficult relationships didn't mean he liked the idea of breaking someone's heart along the way either. He'd had his share of heartbreak too. "Well, just because I am a guy doesn't mean I haven't had my heart broken once or twice. Believe me, romance while it's great and everything not everybody has the same reactions, the same feelings as you do. Sometimes it's great, and everything works out the way it's supposed to, and sometimes love just seems to kick you in the teeth. I've had more than my share of women, from the time I was sixteen until now, dump me, and yes, it hurts, but not near as much as being the dumper. Sometimes you have to call off a relationship because it isn't right and it's the only way not to break someone's heart anymore than it already is. Relationships are complicated no matter how old you are. Sometimes you find the right person and sometimes you don't. When you do, it just feels right, and everything fits in the way it's supposed to, although sometimes, when you find yourself with the wrong person sometimes you just have to have faith and hope that everything works out the way it's supposed to without all the heartbreak involved. Breaking up is never an easy thing and it usually requires alot of time to get over it. It's not like you break up and then suddenly you're able to pick up the pieces that quickly, it takes time and patience and sometimes a little luck too."

"Don't say that, listen all you have to do is give it some time, make him see the real you, besides if you give up you'll never know what you've missed and believe me, your parents wouldn't want you to give up either, I mean they may not want the idea of their daughter dating but you're strong enough to deal with just about anything that comes your way, and you'll do fine as long as you trust yourself and your instincts, and don't give up on the people that mean the most to you." He sighed when she mentioned Paige's name, true he did love Paige, but didn't want to bring her name up for a reason. After all being a whitelighter was hard enough, he didn't think he could deal with any of this right now. All he knew was he had to make sure they were both on the same page. His mind was racing with thoughts.

"It'll happen in it's own time, everything does. Believe it or not. Sometimes you have to push things a little bit to get anywhere. That's how it worked with Piper and Leo, and other couples. Sometimes it doesn't always work out the way you plan it, but nothing is worth doing if you don't try your best and try doing it right."

God he felt like a teenager around Mistic, and all those thoughts flying around in his head didn't help much. He sighed as he looked around, he knew the Elders were keeping a good eye on him because if he screwed up he'd be taken away from Paige and from the others, so that he couldn't help get Piper back.
